  The  27th  Amendment  to  the  United  States  Constitution   states  that  any  law  that  changes  the  compensation  for  members  of  Congress  can  only  take  effect  after  the  next  election  of  the  House  of  Representatives . this amendment says that any changes cant be made until a new election  this video explains that this amendment is placed to help changes in the US  this photo helped me understand how this amendment is important for our constitution and why it is important

  The  26th  Amendment  to  the  United  States  Constitution   establishes  a  minimum  voting  age  of  18  years   for  state  and  federal  elections this amendment made the minimum age to vote is 18  this video explains why we should be able to vote at 18  this photo also explains that we 18 year olds can vote in legislation

  The  24th  Amendment  prohibits  the  use  of  poll  taxes  in  federal  elections,  ensuring  that  citizens  cannot  be  denied  the  right  to  vote  due  to  failure  to  pay  a  tax. this amendment says that poll taxes cant be held in federal elections  this video helped me understand how this amendment worked and why it was useful  this photo helps me understand why this amendment is important in our congress

  The  23rd  Amendment  grants  residents  of  Washington,  D.C.,  the  right  to  vote  in  presidential  elections  and  allocates  them  electoral  votes  as  if  the  District  were  a  state,  but  no  more  than  the  least-populous  state. this amendment is saying residents can vote but no more than the least popular state this video explains that this amendment set good things in the US  this photo explains very well how this amendment works 

  The  22nd  Amendment  states  that  no  person  shall  be  elected  to  the  office  of  President  more  than  twice ,  this amendment states that the president can only run for two terms  this video explains how this amendment stops presidents from being in office to long  i like this photo because it explains why this amendment is needed 

  ,  repealed  the  18th  Amendment ,  which  had  mandated  nationwide  prohibition  of  alcohol.  This  amendment  allowed  for  the  sale,  manufacture,  and  transportation  of  alcoholic  beverages ,  effectively  ending  the  era  of  Prohibition  in  the  United  States.  this amendment ended our 18th amendment bringing back alcohol  this video states why the 21st amendment was placed in our constitution this separates the 21st amendment into parts that explain why this amendment was placed 

    establishes  the  start  and  end  dates  for  the  terms  of  the  President,  Vice  President,  and  members  of  Congress,  aiming  to  reduce  the  "lame  duck"  period. this amendment says that the presidents and congress have term dates for there time in office  this video explains why this amendment is set in the constitution  i like that this photo explains how this amendment is put into place

  The  18th  Amendment  established  the  nationwide  prohibition  of  alcohol  in  the  United  States,  effective  from  1920  until  its  repeal  in  1933. this was a huge amendment that banned alcohol in the US this video explains how this amendment took place and why it did  this photo also showed how it played a huge part in the US

  The  17th  Amendment  established  the  direct  election  of  U.S.  senators  by  the  people,  replacing  the  previous  system  of  selection  by  state  legislatures this amendment helps change the election votes  i like this video because it shows how this amendment took place into our constitution  this photo explains how this amendment worked and what it did for our electors 

  allows  Congress  to  levy  an  income  tax  without  apportioning  it  among  the  states  based  on  population this amendment states that income tax cant be out without state population  this video explains how the US got income tax this is just a brief and simple explanation on what this amendment does for the government 

  The  15th  Amendment  prohibits  the  denial  of  the  right  to  vote  based  on  race,  color,  or  previous  condition  of  servitude,  ratified  on  February  3,  1870 this amendment gave citizens the right to vote  the 15th amendment is very important and i think this video explained very well on how it benefits the government  this photo explains how the 15th amendment was laid out and how it works 

  The  14th  Amendment  guarantees  citizenship,  due  process,  and  equal  protection  under  the  law,  forming  a  cornerstone  of  civil  rights  in  the  United  States this amendment was after freeing the slaves, it let them be citizens  this video clearly states how this law is processed and why it is good for our government  this photo shows how it is far to bring citizenship into the constitution 

  abolished  slavery  and  involuntary  servitude,  except  as  punishment  for  a  crime. this amendment freed the slaves  this video explains why slavery was abolished and how it was in the constitution explained with rules attached this photo just shows the power of the 13th amendment and how good it did for our constitution 

  The  12th  Amendment  reformed  the  Electoral  College  to  require  separate  votes  for  President  and  Vice  President,  preventing  conflicts  between  officeholders  from  opposing  parties. this amendment says separate votes are required to help conflict between parties  this video is explained very well on how the 12th amendment is needed in todays government  this photo helps me understand that votes should be equal on both sides and how it helps votes to be counted
