FOURTH AMENDMENT

Image
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized This amendment in a simple way is saying we are defended and secured from seizures, searches and papers without a reasonable cause or warrant.  I chose this video because it states that the fourth amendment protects us from being searched or questioned without a reasonable cause.  I also chose this photo because it is saying on paper, that if we violate this amendment, it is against the law.

THIRD AMENDMENT

Our third amendment places restrictions on quartering (mandatory housing) of soldiers in private homes without an owner's permission   This amendment states soldiers can't stay in owners' houses without their permission, this was placed during the revolutionary war, this is a manner placed by the law. This video briefly explains our third amendment, and why it was published and how soldiers have to follow this law. I chose this photo because it states that the law says we have to follow this amendment to protect our homes and have protection.

SECOND AMENDMENT

The Second Amendment, often referred to as the right to bear arms, ratified in 1791 by the U.S. Congress. Differing interpretations of the amendment have fueled a long-running debate over gun control legislation and the rights of individual citizens to buy, own and carry firearms. The second amendment states we have the right to bear arms and stay protected by carrying weapons. This video relates to the second amendment because it ensures that all states can hold militias for self defense and citizens have the right to possess weapons for protection This photo states how the second amendment defends in court. Our second amendment shows it should be legal to hold weapons for our protection and defense

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. - Our first amendment gives us the freedom to be who we are, what we believe, and to not be controlled by the government or peoples opinions  This video represents our First Amendment; I chose this video because it represents how congress can't interfere with people's beliefs and religion; it states why the First Amendment was inserted in the Bill of Rights.  The first amendment states the freedom of speech, press, religion and the right to assemble (protects during protest peacefully) and the right to petition.
