FIRST AMENDMENT
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
- Our first amendment gives us the freedom to be who we are, what we believe, and to not be controlled by the government or peoples opinions
This video represents our First Amendment; I chose this video because it represents how congress can't interfere with people's beliefs and religion; it states why the First Amendment was inserted in the Bill of Rights.
The first amendment states the freedom of speech, press, religion and the right to assemble (protects during protest peacefully) and the right to petition.
