THE PREAMBLE

1.  We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

- The power of people is stating that we should have a strong country with fairness, freedom and peace. The preamble mentions to support and protect us and future generations.





- I chose this video because all through school my teachers chose this video so the more I watch over it, the more i understand The Preamble. This video represents how our Founding Fathers made a list of principles to keep the USA free. 




- This photo represents our Preamble. It also states the reasons behind why certain words are mentioned and helps me understand what they mean and how principles are shown to set up the constitution. Our preamble gives us citizens power to have peace and fairness throughout the law.

FIRST AMENDMENT

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. - Our first amendment gives us the freedom to be who we are, what we believe, and to not be controlled by the government or peoples opinions  This video represents our First Amendment; I chose this video because it represents how congress can't interfere with people's beliefs and religion; it states why the First Amendment was inserted in the Bill of Rights.  The first amendment states the freedom of speech, press, religion and the right to assemble (protects during protest peacefully) and the right to petition.
