7TH AMENDMENT

The Seventh Amendment continues a practice from English common law of distinguishing civil claim which must be tried before a jury (absent waiver by the parties) from claims and issues that may be heard by a judge alone. It only governs federal civil courts and has no application to civil courts set up by the states when those courts are hearing only disputes of state leader

This amendment guarantees that civil cases (disputes between people or organizations, not criminal cases) can be decided by a jury.

This video is a good example of the 7th amendment because it states that two people get to hear their case heard by the jury not just the people.

This photo says that any controversy has to have a right of the trial and it also has to be seen to the jury.
